# International Shipping

**When shipping internationally check for correct country codes!**

Business Central uses double digit country codes like DE or FR

DHL can only work with three digits (like DEU or FRA), otherwise the country code is seen as empty and automatically filled with the Shipper country code.

Country codes can be maintained in Business Central in the table **"Countries/Regions"**.\
In our extension, there is an option to populate the field **"DHL Country Code"**.\
The country code must be entered according to **ISO 3166 Alpha-3**.\
