# Verpackungen anlegen

## Verpackungen anlegen

Nur angelegte Verpackungen können bei der Sendungserstellung ausgewählt werden. Öffnen Sie **DHL Pakete** und legen Sie für jede tatsächlich verwendete Verpackung einen eigenen Datensatz an.

### Pflichtangaben

* **Code:** eindeutige interne Bezeichnung, zum Beispiel `EXP-KARTON-S`.
* **Maßeinheit:** mm oder cm.
* **Höhe, Breite und Länge:** tatsächliche Außenmaße.

Die Sendung wird abgewiesen, wenn Maße fehlen.

### Express-Angaben

* **Express Pakettyp-Code:** optionaler DHL-Pakettyp.
* **Express Produktcode:** überschreibt das Standardprodukt der Konfiguration für diese Verpackung.
* **Express lokaler Produktcode:** nur bei DHL-Vorgabe.
* **Dokumentensendung:** aktivieren Sie dies ausschließlich für reine Dokumente ohne Wareninhalt. Auch bei einem Ziel außerhalb der EU wird dann keine Zolldeklaration erzeugt.

Die Auswahlliste „Produktart“ enthält teilweise Bezeichnungen aus dem klassischen DHL-Paketversand. Für DHL Express sind die **Express-Produktcodes** und Ihr DHL-Vertrag entscheidend.

### Empfehlung

Legen Sie sprechende Codes für typische Fälle an, beispielsweise Inland, EU-Luft, EU-Straße, Drittland, Medical Express und Dokument. Lassen Sie Produktcodes vor dem Live-Betrieb von DHL oder Ihrer Versandverantwortung bestätigen.
