# Set Up Orders and Documents

This section controls how Magento orders become BC documents.

### Allow Download

**Allows Order Download** is the central permission switch.

### Automatic Document Creation

**Create Doc. Immediately** automatically creates a BC document on download. Start with manual creation.

### Document Type

**Sales Order Document Type** is usually Order. Use other types only after a process review.

### Number Series

**Sales Order No. Series** must exist and have sufficient capacity.

{% hint style="danger" %}
In this app version, the selected number series can be written to the global setup **Sales & Receivables Setup → Order Nos.**. This also affects manually created sales orders. Check the global setting after setup and testing.
{% endhint %}

### Download Filter

**Downloadable Order Status** controls the interactive filter. The **Selected** checkbox in the status list is not evaluated for this purpose in version 27.10.0.16. The separate standard download job uses hard-coded statuses.

### Additional Fields

* Start From Order ID
* Default Location Code
* Calculate Invoice Discount
* Prices Including Tax
* Calculate Tax When Create Sales Order
* Calculate Tax on Shipping Cost
* Replace Magento Shipping Cost
* Download Order Item options

Test guest/customer orders, discounts, shipping, tax, options, partial quantities, and retries.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.solutioo.de/magento-2-api-connector/magento2_en_us/configuration/set-up-orders-and-documents.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
