# Download Products from Magento

Products can be loaded from Magento into Business Central. The process supports batching and is resumable.

### Prerequisites

* Connection successful
* Attributes and options loaded
* Attribute sets available
* Categories and store views known
* Item template and data ownership clarified

### Product Download

The Download Cockpit or the product download job processes products in batches. **Max Products Per Run** controls the quantity; the default is 50.

### Configurable Parents

Magento products of type **configurable** are logged as **Skipped** in the standard product download and are not set up as parent products in BC. Simple products are created or updated.

Skipped is a terminal status and will not be reprocessed in subsequent runs. Configurable Magento structures therefore require a separately coordinated process.

### Images and Separate Cockpit Areas

Media entries can be processed during the normal product download. The separate **Product Images** area has no dedicated execution handler in version 27.10.0.16.

### Product Download Log

Shows batch, current SKU/ID, attempts, success, and message. Interrupted runs resume based on the stored progress.

A download can create or update BC master data. Run the initial synchronization in a sandbox and verify field mapping and templates.
