# Upload Inventory

The MSI upload sends SKU, Source Code, Quantity, and Stock Status for each item and assigned source.

### Prerequisites

* Inventory Sync Mode = Magento MSI
* Upload Inventory enabled
* Item marked as Magento product
* Valid SKU
* MSI sources actively mapped

### Single-Item Test

1. Determine item quantity per location.
2. Start the inventory upload on the item.
3. Check the Activity Log.
4. Verify Source Quantity in Magento.
5. Test frontend availability.

### Batch Run

**Upload All Pending Stock** or Upload Data processes pending inventory in batches.

{% hint style="warning" %}
For a trailing last batch, the synchronization status in version 27.10.0.16 may not update reliably. Do not rely exclusively on the BC checkmark; verify Magento and the log.
{% endhint %}

### Troubleshooting

Filter errors by SKU, source, and request; correct the mapping/quantity and resend only the affected items.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.solutioo.de/magento-2-api-connector/magento2_en_us/price-and-inventory-management/upload-inventory.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
