# Read the Activity Log

The **Activity Log** is the first place to look when investigating business-level synchronization issues.

### Key Fields

Date/Time, Webshop, Direction, Module/Entity, Key, Action, Success, Message, and User/Run Context.

### How to Read an Entry

1. Filter by the correct shop.
2. Narrow down the time range and record.
3. Check direction and action.
4. Read the message in full.
5. Look up the corresponding API call.

### Typical Messages

* Mapping missing
* Target object already exists
* Required field/SKU missing
* API call failed
* Processing completed

"Completed" means the process ended technically. Check the count and the target system if no data was changed.
