# Map Shipping Methods

Every Shopware order contains a **shipping method**. To ensure that it is mapped correctly in Business Central during the import, assign the Shopware shipping methods to the corresponding BC values.

**Setup**

Use [Load Shopware Initial Data](/shopware/shopware6_en_us/configuration/load-shopware-initial-data.md) to load the shipping methods defined in the shop into the mapping table.

**Create the mapping**

Link each Shopware shipping method to the matching BC shipping method. This ensures that shipment terms and shipping costs are transferred correctly during the order import.

#### How are the shipping costs of an order transferred?

The shipping costs of a Shopware order are transferred to the sales order as a separate line. Exactly how they are posted depends on your settings for shipping costs. The shipping method itself is assigned to the matching BC shipping method through the mapping.

#### What if a new shipping method is added in the shop?

Load the initial data again so that the new shipping method appears in the mapping table, and link it to the matching BC shipping method. Only then will it be mapped correctly during the order import.
