# Salutations & Countries

For clean customer and address data, **salutations** (for example Mr., Mrs.) and **countries/regions** must be mapped between Shopware and Business Central. The connector loads both value lists from Shopware and makes them available for mapping.

**Setup**

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Load initial data**

Use [Load Shopware Initial Data](/shopware/shopware6_en_us/configuration/load-shopware-initial-data.md) to load salutations and countries/regions from Shopware.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Map salutations**

Link the Shopware salutations to the salutations or field values in BC.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Map countries/regions**

Map the Shopware countries to the BC country/region codes – this is important for taxes and shipping.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
If a country/region mapping is missing, addresses cannot be created correctly during the customer or order import. Check the mapping before you download orders.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.solutioo.de/shopware/shopware6_en_us/configuration/salutations-and-countries.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
