Guest Customers & Default Customers

Not every order comes from a signed-in, synchronized customer. The connector provides flexible rules for this.

Settings (configuration)

Field	Meaning
Create Unknown Customer	Automatically creates a BC customer for new Shopware customers
Create Guest Customer	Creates a customer for guest orders
Default Guest Customer	Fallback customer for guest orders
Default Customer (signed in)	Fallback for signed-in but not synchronized customers
Customer Template	Template for newly created customers

Decision logic during order import

Recommendation: Set up fixed default customers for guest and collective postings. This keeps your analyses clean, even if not every order results in a separate customer.
