Tags

Tags help you group and filter products in Shopware and use them in merchandising.

Setup

1. In the Configuration, enable Tag Upload.
2. Enter the required Shopware Tags on the item (several tags are possible).
3. During the product upload, the tags are created in Shopware (if they do not exist yet) and assigned to the product.

Tags are only taken into account if Tag Upload is enabled in the configuration.

Tip

Use tags consistently (for example, “New", “Sale", “Bestseller") so that you can populate shop automations such as dynamic product groups.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my tags not transferred to Shopware?

Tags are only transferred if the “Tag Upload” option is enabled in the configuration and at least one tag has been entered on the item under “Shopware Tags”. Check both points if the tags are missing in the shop.

Does the connector create missing tags in Shopware automatically?

Yes. During the product upload, tags that do not exist yet are created automatically in Shopware and assigned to the product. Existing tags are reused, so no duplicates are created.
